On July 17, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus announced the introduction of a temporary visa-free procedure for entry, entry and transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus for citizens of European countries, which will be valid until December 31, 2024. It is established that for citizens of these states, visa-free entry into the Republic of Belarus and exit from the Republic of Belarus is carried out through all road and railway international checkpoints across the State Border of the Republic of Belarus. The period of temporary stay on the territory of the Republic of Belarus is no more than 30 (thirty) days from the date of entry. Foreign citizens must have valid documents to travel abroad and a health insurance policy valid in Belarus. You can use the right of visa-free entry into Belarus an unlimited number of times during the entire validity period until December 31, 2024 inclusive. The number of days of stay in Belarus under the visa-free regime should not exceed 90 days in a calendar year. This procedure does not apply to holders of diplomatic, official, special and equivalent passports Foreigners who arrived on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on a visa-free basis will be able to transit to third countries, with the exception of the Russian Federation, including through checkpoints at airports.
